The NEX-FS100 is a Full HD camcorder equipped with a Super 35mm Exmor CMOS sensor. This sensor provides a wide dynamic range, low noise and high sensitivity, while minimizing rolling shutter and moiré undesired artifacts. The camcorder has a compact, box-shaped case, so it allows multiple accessories and operation, such as tripod, handheld or steadycam. It inherits the E-mount from the NEX-VG10, with a short flange back, in order to allow use of many different lenses either directly or via optional adaptors. NXCAM offers well-adopted non-linear workflows with the benefit of 2ch linear PCM recording. Media is recorded on MS or SD cards with hybrid recording available via the optional HXR-FMU128 flash memory unit.
